I’m a 68-year-old woman and was experiencing substantial hair loss. I did hours of research and considered multiple different hair treatments, including topical and oral minoxidil. Preferring a natural remedy, I also researched hair oils and serums that were said to help combat hair loss. In the end, I decided to.try the Ayurvedic product Muni and I could not be happier. I have been using the regimen as prescribed for a little over three months now, and the results are unbelievable to me and noticeable by others. My hair is definitely of a better texture now and has regrown in places where my scalp had been showing through. I’m not exaggerating when I say that my hair is the best it’s been in my life and I expect that, as I continue to use the Muni products, my hair will become even more healthy and attractive than it is now.
Worked like magic. Only thing that my ayurveda doc asked of me is consistency, which is fair! Once it's a part of your routine, you begin to enjoy it tremendously. Just the smell of the hair oil makes me feel my hair is growing out already.
Until 2 years back in India, I had very long, thick, and strong hair but my hair has been destroyed since I moved to the USA. It’s become super fragile with dry ends. For 2 years I had been dealing with a lot of hair loss. I've now replaced my entire hair stack with Muni's regime of hair oil, shampoo and serum and it has made my hair thicker and even hairline has improved considerably. Very happy with my subscription!
Got referenced from Reddit reviews. I'm just grateful for joining this journey. For those of you who have been reading and following Muni reviews and haven’t pulled the trigger - just do it. The longer you wait the worse it’ll be. My routine:
1. Hair oiling for 15 minutes 3 times a week. I let it sit for an hour (as advised by my ayurveda doc)
2. Double (or sometimes triple) wash with the shampoo. It's very gentle, and sometimes doesn't remove full buildup in one go.
3. Turmeric and redensyl serum at night. No wash. It's lightweight and I just want it to soak in and activate my follicles. All topicals!
4. Diet - big change to include leafy vegetables in diet for fibre and gut biomes
5. Sleep patterns - Doc aarusha advised me to sleep early and wake up early + get 30 mins of morning sun (my vit D was low!)
Now for the results - I've never felt better. Hair is thicker and hairline is growing in slowly but surely. Will continue for at least 3 more months because it has changed not only my hair but my lifestyle. Highly highly recommend!
Some context: 35 year old female here. Muni's gurus identified correctly that my hair loss was exacerbated by stress and poor haircare practices. I’m not sure if this will be the same for men but I’m now trying this method on my boyfriend whose hair is thinning so I will update with the results.
I always had thick hair since childhood and considered myself quite lucky with it. This luck ran out last year, when I realised that my hair had become really thin. I had HALF the hair I used to have. Additionally, I was losing a crazy amount of hair in the shower. Like a full thick palm full every time I washed it. I also noticed that my hairline at both sides was seriously receding, and that the rest of my hair was just covering up these almost-bald patches.
I saw an insta ad for Muni. I treat all ads with suspicion, but the more I read, the more scientific and effective it seemed. So in February I decided to fill in their quiz and give it a go. I got a hair oil with bhringraj, rosemary and castor oil and a serum with redensyl, capilia longa and licorice root and a cleansing shampoo.
I knew of some of these ingredients but had no idea about some of the ancient ayurvedic ones. I began doing the 3-step routine consistently in March. The results from this short time have been crazy, to the point where I forgot how bad it was in the first place. I hardly lose any hair in the shower now. My hairline is growing, the bald patch baby hairs are now THICK and my hair generally is so much thicker!! People have commented on this too. I’m honestly shook and I cannot wait to see how far this can go. I also want to thank my ayurveda doctor who has been of tremendous help! Much love, Ananya.
Very noticeable changes as called out by my family and friends. Hair seems thicker and it I feel my temples might have even grown in a bit. If anyone is debating on starting I say give it a go and would recommend doing the full 3-step along with subscription which gives you access to their top ayurveda experts (Dr Aarusha has been as good as a life coach for me!). My custom ingredients had herbs like Bringraj and Jatmansi which I've now come to realize are so much more powerful than single oils like rosemary or castor.
I'm in my forties with widening part and thinning hair which also was becoming damaged. The difference now is very evident and I'm well on my way to recovery. The parting now has much thicker hair which helps me cover it well. My hairline has also become fuller - so appearance wise it has helped me a lot and give me confidence. Muni doctors have been great at guiding me towards a safe and effective solution. My main root cause identified was Vata (dryness) which was further exacerbated by dietary issues. Born and brought up in a farm, my diet has always been meat heavy and has led to a lot of gut health issues. All of this has been fixed in a very mindful manner by my doctor along with my custom regime which I use 2 times a week. I will definitely continue this treatment plan!
Today marks 6 months of consistent treatment. Listing my stack below
Muni Keshya Vardhan oil - Bhringraj, Rosemary, Castor (Bonus points for the amazing smell. Each time I apply it I feel like my scalp is actually growing new hair)
Muni Shampoo - Amla, Brahmi, Aloe
Muni Keshya Ankura serum - Rosemary, Turmeric, Redensyl (my personal favorite - I finished the serum way ahead of time, is my only issue!)
Ditched all my previous expensive treatments. Incremental changes to diet (added a lot of moong and other natural protien). For an ayurveda brand, I was surprised how scientific they were in the solutioning which is great!
Everyone thinking about treatment - I highly recommend. Consistency is key tho, topical treatments suck to stay on top of, but that's what it will take!
My hairdresser recently told me that my hairline has gotten significantly fuller and my parting has become narrow. It honestly was one of the best days of my life and this is all down to Muniveda. I've been using the 3 step oil-shampoo-serum regime for 3 months. I'm so thankful to have trusted the process and followed Dr Namratas instructions on my diet and lifestyle. As an aside, I also use some red light therapy from time to time, but not sure if that has contributed much to my hair growth. I feel the serum is definitely powerful and soaks into my scalp at night, activating new follicles. Anyone with hairloss? Don't even think twice about starting your Muni regime.
In the past few weeks I've received so many compliments, and it is all because of my thick, healthy hair. It has taken some time, around six months, but my hairline has finally recovered. I will keep doing my 3-step regime till the very end. Love it. And my Indian wife especially loves massaging the hair oil in the mornings. Would love if you can give me some more discount if I buy in advance?
tldr version for now. I'll share a detailed update later but absolutely amazing how my hairline has changed and my thinning hair has transformed in five months time. No side effects whatsoever. I've already recommended to all my friends in their thirties with hair loss
PROS -
1. Only holistic solution in the market that looks at hair growth inside out (topicals + diet + lifestyle).
2. Great diagnosis and root caused based solutions - correctly indentified my underlying issues like low Vit D, high stress levels and thyroid
3. Products are really good - hair oil especially smells amazing and has become a part of my routine
CONS -
1. Yet to see full results. I feel hair loss has stopped (which is a big win), but haven't seen new hair growth yet. Hope to see it soon
2. Requires serious consistency. It requires patience and people with very urgent need might not be happy with the pace
I'm 2 weeks in. No progress yet. Using the regime 3X a week. Hoping for results soon
A bit early at the moment to comment. Products smell nice and easy to use.
I don't think these custom products can recover hair on my bald patch. It's good for the hair already there on my crown, and I'm waiting for it to thicken but at this moment I am leaning towards going fully bald rather than try and continue this for a few more months. Also, my scalp is oily, so I am not sure I should be hair oiling and using more products which might block the pores.
Unfortunately I've thick dreadlocks and did not think it would be this difficult. The oil is a bit thick and does not get fully washed out by the shampoo. Hence a 1 star review. I did manage to use the serum which is quite light, but without the full regime prescribed to me it doesn't make sense to continue.
I bought Muniveda after reading glowing reviews and it has definitely shown great results. Sharing my honest experience below. I've had male pattern baldness (stage 2 to 3) since my twenties with receding hairline and thinning hair on the scalp. Minoxidil is something I tried on and off but it gave terrible me side effects and since then I have searched for natural solutions. Muniveda is the only solution I found scientific in their methodology and I'm happy I tried it. I took the quiz 3 months back and was diagnosed with Vata Dosha (dryness + diet issues + sleep issues), which was quite accurate. The Muniveda doctor helped me address all three with their custom regime and a tailored diet plan for me. In three months I have definitely seen hair loss has reduced. I was losing a huge amount of hair daily. Now that has stopped altogether, only a few strands per wash which is normal. I follow a strict hair oil + cleansing + serum routine, followed by increased clean protien in my diet. Sleep is something that took time to fix, but I personally feel it has helped immensely to resolve my hair loss issues as well. I'm very grateful to Muni and its experts for helping me when I thought it was impossible to fix my situation! Highly highly encourage people to try if you're struggling with hair loss at the moment.
I've repurchased and am in two minds whether to continue or not for the 3rd month. I'm a 35F with fine hair and receding hair line. I've used two bottles and while I love the smell and use of the products (especially the overnight serum) I'm in two minds to continue. I think it is too expensive for me, and I'm not sure how long it will take to see the full results. My hair loss has reduced significantly, which is great news. But it seems like growth and thick hair will take a long time and I can't commit to the regime just yet
As a 40+ male in the midwest, I never thought I would be someone who would be so into personal care - especially accepting asian cultural trends like hair oiling and using serums. Now, I can't imagine my life without it. I've used 4 bottles of hair oil and serum and shampoo and I feel I can leave a legitimate review.
Pros:
1. Definite thickening of hair in thinning areas.
2. My temples have also grown in, which I never thought was possible at my age
3. Dry scalp issues have been resolved. I LOVE the hair oil and its smell and it starts my day perfectly and makes me feel more energetic.
4. Started seeing results in 3 months, which was MUCH quicker than what I expected and what even my ayurveda expert expected so I'm very happy
Cons:
1. Hair oil can be a bit thick if you have very fine hair. Not a problem if you double wash it out.
2. Discipline discipline discipline! But if you can master it, hair loss reversal with Muni can be a breeze
Why is there not the option of buying only the hair oil? I've heard great reviews about it, and I'm very keen to purchase the hair oil but am unable to see the option to do so. Please help.
I've finished 2 months and I'm maybe beginning to see some results but it's still taking more time than expected. My bigger issue is that the ayurveda expert said if I don't fix my IBS, it will also be difficult to resolve my hair loss issues which is a problem because I've had IBS for a few years now. It makes life very difficult for me. It is also difficult to incorporate diet changes as suggested because of my IBS and hence I'm unable to fully realise the benefits of the regime. In two minds whether to continue since I don't think ayurveda is the way to cure my IBS
I’ve been using the products for 2 weeks. Unfortunatey the oil requires multiple washes which requires time and energy. Given my busy schedule I’m unable to commit . Also the doctor required me to make big changes to my diet which also I’m unable to do. Not an easy solution to follow so I will not be continuing
Want to share with everyone out there struggling - there is still much hope to reverse your alopecia or MPB of female balding. I went from losing at least 200 - 300 strands per day to gaining new baby hair within 6 months! My regime is A) Muni hair oil with heroes like bhringraj and castor oil. Pls note, the castor oil makes it thick so requires multiple washes. B) The Cleanser shampoo - which is gentle, and prevents any hair damage. C) The night serum (best of the lot!). It has real hair growth properties from redensyl and capilia longa. I've been on this regime 3 times a week along with some minor dietary changes as suggested by the ayurveda experts. The results are fantastic, with new hair fall and a much cleaner cycle for the body.
I've been lurking in a lot of blogs and reddit channels trying to figure out a safe way to reverse my hair loss. Muni ayurveda was the only solution that looked at hair loss in a holistic manner that has helped me cut out a lot of bad parts about my life in the process. My diet is cleaner. My schedule is more relaxed and I'm focusing on exercise. Hair oiling in the morning and serum in the night is a great way to start and end the day as time stamps and also activate the scalp in the process. This is a brilliant regime by Muni that in a way helps you eliminate the root causes from your life. My gratitude to the ayurveda experts for their help as I've turned my life around in a span of a few months.
In my late thirties, I had almost given up hope of recovering my hairline. But hats off to Muniveda experts who were there every step of the way. I have classic MPB (hairline and thinning at the crown) and I could have avoided a lot of pain had I started earlier. Still, it took me 6 months and recession has now stopped (little to no hair loss in the last 3 weeks). I was also identified with Pitta Dosha, along with issues with my diet and gut health. These were a little more complicated to solve but Dr Namrata has expertly helped me recover from it. Its been slower, mainly because I've had a hard time being consistent. But the results are definitely significant. Definitely recommend to people who want to reclaim their hair in a natural, sustainable manner even if it is a little slower than usual.
